Intermodal Travelling - "just.go"
Description
When talking to T-Systems they where most interested on ticketing and they brought it in connection with "intermodal travelling". This means a seamless travelling experience with various transport modes.
Usually it seems to cause problems with having one company operating the platform for the ticketing.
--> It seems to me that doing the ticketing on the Blockchain is a huge opportunity.
Use case:
Imagine, you are traveling from A to B and select just how you wanna get there, what cost you wanna pay and what timeframe you need. Then the app is just giving you the options and as soon as you confirm your travelling plan all the bookings are just done.
It could look like that: You leave your house and walk to the train station, get on and off the train, your taxi is already waiting, getting you to the bike rental place for a weekend trip with the bicycle. Everything is payed and waiting for you to give you a pleasant and seamless journey.

While more and more infrastructure providers offer some kind of API / open data, I wonder how the payment integration could be done.
This would require every one of the integrated providers to offer an interface for payment/ticketing.
How could we create a platform so attractive for them to do that effort?
Looks like a very big project. The kind of stuff Google and alike usually do.
